The Emergence of Adam Corola

Some of you might have seen a little more of former Man Show Co-Host Adam Corola over the past few months. With several appearances on ESPN Sports Guy Bill Simmons’ podcast, The B.S. Report and (gasp) an amusing turn on “Dancing With the Stars”, Corola has been doing an admirable job in promoting his whimsical indie movie, The Hammer. In transferring his everyday radio persona to the big screen, Corola delivers a surprisingly endearing performance in a story that playfully infuses Rocky-inspired montage sequences and Corala’s clever, sarcastic observations on everything from slow driving to the type of bolts that should be used to hang a heavy bag into a story that involves Corala’s quest to find love in L.A. while training to be a 40 year-old Olympian in the light Heavyweight boxing division. Suspend disbelief and check out this gem of a low budget movie, in which Corala shows real potential as a Seinfeld-like character living in glamorous LA.
